Jean-Babtiste Degbeni is a young artist who I have been mentoring in Africa.
He lives in a village called Lobogo in southern Benin and has become very good at
portraying life in his village.

For several years he's been sending photos of his work, asking for comment and
encouragement which has been great fun to give.
He has recently won a scholarship to a very good design school in South Africa
but the cost of getting there and supporting himself for the year, is daunting.
I am helping and through this book, and hope to help more.
Living there will be expensive. I am hoping to help him with proceeds from my book
